American Idolers

Is this the best!? One day during quiet time Kade built his own American Idol set.
There's a keyboarder, a drummer, and a singer on the left and the judges table is on the right.
This is a picture of Simon on the right- notice the grumpy face and black shirt, and he doesn't have any girl Legos, so this is Paula- notice she's standing and dancing. Also, notice their cups on the table. Pretty observant funny boy.

To all you fellow Idolers out there- we think Chris Allen looks like our baby Sam. What do you think? Gotta love American Idol. But we REALLY love Legos. And I REALLY, REALLY love quiet time.

Since I haven't posted for a month (too busy- work, family, diapers, dinner, etc.) This picture is a good representation of what our month has been like. It's spring, we've been working hard, and sometimes we are all just exhausted. This is the boys coming home from St. George after playing with their cousins on Easter Sunday.

This is the boys before church on Easter Sunday. Aren't they cute. They are good boys, mostly nice, and always exciting. Perhaps I look overwhelmed at times. At the hospital yesterday (blood draw for Zach- no fun!) a nice older woman came up to me and said, "There's life after boys. I raised five of them." And the older gentleman bagger at the grocery store yesterday said, "Two boys, huh?" and I said, "Actually I have three." And he advised, "Next time your husband gets that gleam in his eye, hand him his fishing pole." I laughed and said, "Next time my husband gets that gleam in his eye, I'm going to grab MY fishing pole and leave him home with his three boys!" But more likely Kyle will take all of them fishing and I'll put my feet up, enjoy the silence, and then start to miss them.

What a sweet picture of your boys! I love it.

And I'm so glad everyone survived the blood draw.

I laughed for about fifteen minutes, I get comments like those all time wherever I go, but I'm not near as cleaver as you. I usually stand there and smile. But I am glad I only have 2 because I am sure the comments would change because I know I would not be able to handle it. You are such a wonderful mother and I look to you a lot as one of my heros. I will miss you when we finally move.
