Zach is Famous

We got to meet Phil Keoghan (host of the Amazing Race) this morning as he headed through Cedar City on his "Ride Across America". We didn't actually know who he was before today, but I try to participate in any local event that helps me convince myself that this isn't a boring town to live in. And usually it's not, but I have to keep my eyes and ears open all the time.

He had invited local people to join him on his ride, so Zach was one of 6 people who did. He fired up his motorcycle to join in and was rewarded with a big high 5 from Phil. This was also captured by his camera man, so I'm sure we'll be famous in no time. His photographer also snapped a picture of us to maybe go on the blog following his journey, so check out http://www.philridesacrossamerica.com/ and see if we were cool enough and/or good looking enough to be included. We'll see.

From Cedar City he was headed east up highway 14 on to Kanab and then Southern Colorado- I don't envy his uphill journey. Kyle did, and took off from work a few hours early and headed the same direction on his bike this afternoon- but Kyle didn't invite any locals or paparazzi to travel along with him, as he prefers to ride solo. Kyle also better turn around before he reaches the Atlantic Ocean, cuz he's supposed to be back in time for dinner.
