Happy 4th!

We had a fun filled 4th of July. We started with the Main Street Parade, not too exciting, but not too long either. We were so hot afterwards we got out the slip and slide and the pool and cooled off. Then we had Gma and Gpa Kay over for a BBQ. Had naps. And then we still had hours left to entertain the kids until the fireworks began. So we took them fishing at the kids pond up the canyon. They had so much fun. Kade caught the only fish, and was quite proud of that fact. Zach was a pretty good caster for a 2 year old, and was cute as button in the fishy swimsuit he insisted on wearing. Afterwards, we BBQ'ed up some dinner (including Kade's little trout) and PJ'ed the kids, loaded them in the jog stroller and walked to our church where we had the best view overlooking the fireworks, and a huge lawn full of friends to hang out with. It was a fun day, we were exhausted, and we couldn't believe we still had the whole weekend left to entertain our kids. Whew!
