Happy Summer!
We're alive. But summer sure has been hoppin' with Kade out of preschool. We spent a fun filled week in Houston visiting Jana's family. Flying alone with two kids wasn't the highlight of MY summer, but we had so much fun playing with our cousins we didn't want to come home when the time came. We've had a 101 playdates with friends, been swimming "at the SUU", played with our slip and slide, and had so much fun last weekend with all of our cousins in town. Yesterday I took the boys to the "Groovefest" music festival, and they had a great time. Zach sat perfectly still and enjoyed the live music, while Kade loved the music but couldn't hold still. We took a break to enjoy the overpriced bouncey houses and found snow cones, and then they were able to sit and enjoy a little longer. The week before we had taken them to the local Paiute tribe Pow Wow, which was exciting, with costuming, dancing, singing, and a drum circle. The boys eyes were very big. It should add some new "sweet moves" to their eclectic dance styles.

Matty learned some 'sweet moves' from Kade while he was here. And I think we have kade to thank for the breakdancing as well. Groove on! Sounds like Cedar is one hoppin' place- truly 'the festival city'. ;)
