The boys got to go to a SUU Men's Basketball game (thanks to Christine for the extra ticket!) Zach is most intrigued by the "Funderbird". Aren't we all? Does he fly? Does he say "bagock" like our chickens? We're not sure. But Zach was thrilled to meet him again in person. This is a picture of the boys in their SUU reds, flashing "the sign of the Thunderbird"- I'm pretty sure the sign is a Simmons exclusive, but we look cool, right?
Kyle chose seats right by the band, thinking it would be more exciting for the kids. And it was! A little overwhelming, possibly deafening, but exciting for sure. Kade was thrilled to get a free Sonic slushie after the T-birds scored 75 points!
Zach's highlight was when the Thunderbird stole his beanie hat, but gave it back. Kyle was happy to spend a fun night with the boys absolutely free! And I was glad both boys took naps earlier in the day so they could go with Kyle, and perfectly content to stay home with Sam and enjoy a little peace and quiet. (I actually worked, but I didn't have to juggle babysitting to do it- hurray!) Go T-birds!
