Rad Dad

We'd like to be hip, but we just aren't. I think we might be too old and too cheap. We don't yet own an Ipod, perhaps we will someday. Maybe when my kindgarten niece decides to upgrade hers we can score her hand-me-down Miley Cyrus music. Augh!

Kyle's been studying up to take an Insurance test, and he knew that he had the course on cassette from years and years ago. So we've been digging in our boxes trying to find them (when you move as often as we do, there are some things we don't bother to unpack). Eureka! We found them in a box with textbooks in the basement. The only problem was they were on cassette. Do YOU still have a working cassette player? I was able to scrounge up an old walkman from the hall closet (when you move as often as we do, there are some things you shouldn't still have). It's been working great. So when Kyle was leaving for the gym, I noticed his walkman in hand. I told him, "Augh! You can't take that out in public!!!" So poor Kyle concealed his old school walkman in his pocket and we're hoping everyone just assumes it's his Ipod- a very large, battery eating Ipod. Oh no, what happens when he has to flip his tape over!

P.S. Kyle took his test yesterday and passed! Score one for the not hip, old and cheap team!

Jodi--

I was looking at homes in Cedar City on KSL.com and thought, Oh, this is a nice house--and then realized it was yours! :)

I'm glad to hear you're doing well, and enjoying almost obsolete things. Dan still refuses to get a cell phone.

Are you guys selling your house? I want to buy it for the awesome sled-hill-backyard alone!

woohoohooo!! I love that Kyle took his walkman to the gym. Did he wear his RexKwanDo pants too? :)

You can have my ipod it has kidtunes and scriptures on it. Now that's cool. (Way to go on the test, Kyle. Now can you move to Texas?)

Cassette Players -- now that's "old school" hip. I've got tons of old cassettes if you want to copy them. Congratulations on passing the test. --Roland

Fetch that's awesome, I don't think Chris would have dared to go out in public, but then again he still wears his bright purple turtleneck from the eighties that he won't let me throw out (because it's not even DI worthy). Thanks, you made my day!!! Corie
