the best week ever...

We are on Day #6 of Kade's "Best Week Ever".  Friday was the beginning- we skipped school and went to St. George for glorious 80+ degree weather and to see our cousins from Texas.  The kids loved playing together, they hiked the Dixie Mtn and played in the river and splash pad at the Main Street Park.  On Saturday Kade and Zach got to compete in their first mtn bike race, they are both excellent riders and loved the excitement of a race.  And as Zach said they "got to ride in the REAL desert!"  On Sunday the kids and I traveled north to spend more time with their cousins.  The kids have had so much fun.  Their cousins are their best friends and they love being together.  We ventured out to Temple Square, the grown ups hit the Carl Bloch exhibit at BYU and we stopped in at IKEA today.  We've had so much fun playing we decided to stay another day.  We'll head home tomorrow so we can get ready for Kade's birthday on Friday, and his baptism on Saturday.
