Girls and Boys

We had some cute visitors pop in for the weekend. You may not recognize them in costume...

We hit the gymnastics meet, Park Discovery, swam at Kyle's hotel, went to church, went to playgroup, watched some movies, ate lots of good treats, played lots of games, scootered, jumped on the trampoline, bought tap dancing shoes (for them, not me!), and had LONG BORING quiet times (right kids?!)  We love these girls, and enjoyed stealing my brothers best babysitters for a couple of days.

Jennie- this one's for you!  Little cutie ready for her first swim!  I would have taken more pics of the big swim but my 4 kids + 2 cute cousins + 3 fun friends= no time to relax at the pool, let alone take cute pics.

Seriously, can your man do this!?  Entertaining 3 kid at once- pretty good, huh!  These kids love their daddy.  In other news...  I think if your ribs finally heal, and you go BACK to the skate park with BFF and you fall hard and break your ribs in a different spot, you are smart to wait a few days before telling your wife.  And really lucky you still have some IBU 800 leftover.

We got to visit the 2nd grade for curriculum night.  This is Kade-o Potato's moon project- I wanted cousin Matty to see the postcard he sent Kade from NASA was included.  Kade built his own moon rover out of Legos to go with it, and created a moon, an earth, and a nebula? out of clay. This boy is a science wizz and a smarty pants.  And I think little bro was trying to pull a funny face, not flash gang signs- but you never know what they are learning in Preschool these days. ;)

We celebrated with fries and Frosty's after.  The best part was watching the X-games winter sports competition at Wendy's.  I love this picture of Kade.  I laughed when I saw it on my camera, this is how he looks to us most the time- always in motion.
Wishing you a wonderful, smiley week.  And maybe a really good chocolate Frosty.
