An attempt to update our blog...
We are having a fun summer and staying super busy
Retired from my part time job- had to give back the speedy laptop and snazzy digital camera (bear with me)
Had a fabulous economic family vaycay in Salt Lake- we went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point, to our favorite Murray Outdoor Swimming Pool, and played with our cousins
We've attended every festival and function we can in our small town (this place is pretty exciting for about 8 weeks of the year)
(The boys rode in the 4th of july parade with zachs preschool)
(Caught a fun airshow- Sam had to check out this big ol' firefighting helicopter)
The boys are speed demons and have ridden their bikes at every park in town and a million places in between
Went hiking in Zion Park last weekend- rode the shuttle, hiked to Weeping Rock, got an ice cream at the lodge, went to a junior ranger program, and rode bikes in the campground. It was a thrill. The highlight was watching Zach and Sam "tweeting" shrilly while chasing birds on the lawn at the lodge.
Zach is loving summer session preschool and Kade is loving swimming lessons
Kyle has excavated, rearranged, and made our yard fabulous- we are loving the built in trampoline and the new grass and sprinklers
Sam keeps us all entertained. He thinks he's a big kid, and isn't afraid to get bossy with his big brothers. He's spoiled by all of us- we all get a kick out of him. He's a pleasant boy who likes to have a good time. He likes airplanes and tractors, to sing, run fast, try to talk, go on bike rides with dad, lounge on mom's big belly, and play with his brothers. He loves popsicles and begs for soymilk "dada juice".
(The fam on the 4th. Notice the belly, please!)
I'm now 37 weeks pregnant and only just starting to get uncomfortable. Kade was born at 37 weeks, and Zach was a day overdue so we aren't sure what to expect. For now I'm convinced she's easier to take care of where she is, so I'm happy for her to stay put until I get brutally uncomfortable. It's strange having pink things around our house, and the thought of four children makes us whimper, but it should be another exciting adventure. We are taking name suggestions, so leave us a comment with your contributions- we'll give a prize to the winner.

Jodi, please let us know if you need a hand in any way when the baby comes! (or before, if it comes to that. :)) We're excited for you.
what belly?
I am sure you are feeling quite pregnant, but alas, you just look like the happy mom of active boys to your old Uncle.
You must have read our post. Aunt Bubby says the ice cream cones at the lodge are amazingly good. I didn't try one, but she had one and so did all of Sarah's kids.
Let us know if you need some help (late night excitement).
Yea Jodi! So excited to hear from you in blog speak. So excited for girly girl to arrive. Maybe we will get to peek at her. We will be in your neighborhood the first week of Aug. I will bring another round of little girl items including a lavendar bumbo. Maggie wont sit still in it any longer.
