I left Kade alone with Sam for a few minutes yesterday and came back in to find him like this, with a pirate eye patch and dog tags on. Argh, matey! Poor baby! Perhaps 5 year olds aren't suitable babysitters!?
Also Kade got his 2nd quarter progress report from school yesterday and I was surprised to see they'd marked no on "Knows his home phone number". I asked him if he knew it, and he said no. I thought for a second, and asked, "Kade, do you know mom's cell phone number?" And he quickly recited it for me. I laughed and wondered how many other kids in his class live in cell phone only homes and don't have a "home phone number".

Ha ha! (that's a ha for each story) I've had that same thing happen to babies left alone with creative children.
Ethan doesn't know our home number yet. He knows my Iowa cell number, but we're getting rid of it in January. Poor kid! He can't call home if we wants to!
Kade is pretty darn cute.
