Kade started Kindergarten this week. Hurray! We were all ready. He woke me up at 6:55am on Tuesday morning, dressed and ready to go. I told him good job, now just 2 more hours until school starts! He's been liking it, loves riding the bus, and keeps me posted on all the kids at school- Jack fell asleep on the bus, the crying boy only cried twice today, he sat next to David and Ethan- stuff like that. He's smart as a whip and I'm afraid he's a little bored with school thus far, but he keeps going, he's making friends, and the house is nice and quiet for a few hours- so I won't complain. He also decided he wanted his training wheels off his bike this week, and has spent hours racing up and down the road perfecting the art of "two-wheeling". (He could ride without training wheels a year ago, but didn't like the wobbling, so he had us put his training wheels back on.) Apparently he decided he was ready, and he is, no injuries and he's already racing fast, popping wheelies, smiling big, and leaving skid marks on the driveway. Gma and Gpa Lee stopped by this morning and he was showing off his sweet biking skills. Grandpa summed it up best, "He sure is a coordinated kid!"
