Simple Pleasures
Confession: A highlight of my week is when the local newspaper arrives each week. The baby section is my favorite, I get so excited to open it up and have a good laugh as I read the exciting array of names that are being created daily for our newest residents. This weeks contributions were Korver, McQuade, Beckem McKee, Sydnee, Kysen, and Aaden. Sibling names included Madalyne, Ryker, and Taven. Wow, huh. I'm not sure if we are allowed to choose our own baby name, or if they roll out the Boggle dice and whatever letters you get you have to create something from it. Either way, we'll do the best with what we're given. (I came across a funny website highlighting all the great names you can only seem to find in Utah. For some laughs, check out wesclark.com/ubn or google "Utah baby namer") After our ultrsound tomorrow we'll be accepting suggestions for Baby #3. How about Kyodi- the perfect mix of Kyle and Jodi?

I love Kyodi. It is very Cedar City. Jyles could be doable. We are so excited to hear the flavor of that baby.

Jodi, you totally made me laugh! Choosing a name is quite the ordeal if you ask me. I can't believe the baby names are your favorite part to read, too! I really would've thought I was the only one with that quirk! I always flip to them hoping for some ideas, but always run into numerous names that seem to be simply names strung together from the alphabet! So, we were thinking of Corelle...I liked it before we even got married and then on our honeymoon it occured to me that it's OUR names out together...problem is my mom made fun of it and said she would just call the baby "Come here, Dish" or "Come here, Plate!" instead. Argh...exactly the reason why I don't like to share my names...my mom had to ruin it for everyone! So, you guys have the cutest kids ever...and Kade was my favorite Sunbeam of all last year...maybe I shouldn't post that! Who might read this!? Don't want to offend anyone! ;) So, you are going to join Erin and Christine and I for a girls' night out, right!?
